The deVeber Institute for Bioethics and Social Research is run by two Catholic women and they carry out all their work based on the guiding principle of the inherent value and dignity of all human life. Their work is supported by many partners, including ShareLife and Cardus. They will be hosting a lecture entitled “Life Issues: The Indigenous Perspective” on October 5, 2021 at 8pm (ET) via Zoom. This lecture will feature presentations from a panel of Indigenous midwives, focused on the importance of bringing home, and a presentation from Dr. Carrie Bourassa on end-of-life practices and the need of decolonize health care.
